FACEM S.p.A. is a hot steel forging company. Since 1938, in the historic heart of Italy’s metal industry, Canavese region, we are the benchmark for steel precision forgings from 0.1 to 25 kg.
Eighty years of experience, a productive power always up to date and an extreme attention to quality. These are the values shared by our 130 employees every day in our two facilities, in Valperga and Forno Canavese.
Our 11 forging lines, all equipped with mechanical presses up to 2500 tons, promptly provide our customers with more than fifteen thousand tons of forged steel each year. Different level of automation, from manual lines to fully automated ones, cover any customer need. Our components that are exported for more than 40% abroad, mainly to Germany and France.
- CAPABILITIES: forged components up to 25kg and diameters up to 230 mm, batches from 500 components and annual quantities up to 1M/year.
- INDUSTRIES: automotive, trucks, agriculture, electric powertrain, motorcycles, eatch moving, hydraulics, robotics and spare parts.
- PRODUCTS: gears, synchro hubs, synchro rings, pulleys, bevel gears, shafts, wheel hubs, valves, flanges, brakes, nuts, differential gears, clutch drums, satellites and planetaries.
All dies and production tools are designed and built in-house in our tooshop. Heat treatments of annealing and normalizing are performed in our internal facilities.
We offer also machined and surface-coated components, taking care of the entire process, ensuring the quality of all the different phases.
